Defining a Unique DNA Prefix

To define a unique DNA prefix, use the following CLI command:

CLI> define msm profile dnaPrefix

Example:

CLI> define msm profile dnaPrefix “626555134201”

Continue with “Defining a Node Name” on page 52.

<DNAPrefix> “String” (1..31) Enter the DNA prefix string for this

Passport 4460 unit. The string

must

enclosed within quotation marks.

Note:

When entering the DNA prefix, it is not necessary to enter the type

of numbering plan. If you want to override the default numbering plan,

see Configuring and Operating Passport 4400 Rel. 4 Software,

206916-A.
