Installing software in a new system
Before you begin
Before beginning the software installation process, complete step 1 through
step 9 in "Installing a new Cabinet system" (page 76) or Step 1 through
Step 21 in "Introduction" (page 71). You must install the security device
on the SSC card.
You must have the Keycode Data Sheet available.
Dependency Lists
Dependency Lists (DepLists) are the Nortel recommended Product
Enhancement Packages (PEP) for a software release.
The Software Installation Program automatically installs DepLists on the
Small System. As common practice, ensure that you have the latest issue
of the DepLists at the time of system installation. The Installer’s Checklist
